Our
Process
Good design doesn't happen by accident. It happens through careful listening, thorough planning, and staying involved at every step so that what gets built actually reflects how you live.
Here's How We Work Together:
Discovery & Consultation - We start with a conversation. I want to understand your home, your life, and what you need your space to do for you, not just how you want it to look, but how you want it to feel on an ordinary Tuesday. Through an in-depth consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, design tastes, and any specific needs for your space.
Concept Development - From there, I develop a creative direction that's specific to you: mood boards, color palettes, and spatial ideas that reflect your personal style while staying grounded in function. We refine it together until it feels right.
Design & Sourcing - Once the concept is approved, we move into detailed planning: furniture, fixtures, and materials. I handle all sourcing and procurement, so that you don't have to. You’ll be involved in decisions but won’t have to worry about the logistics.
Project Management & Execution - I coordinate contractors, oversee installation, and manage timelines. You'll hear from me regularly. No guessing and no surprises.
Final Touches & Refinement - Before we wrap up, we'll walk through the finished space together. If anything needs adjusting, we'll adjust. The goal isn't just to meet your expectations, it's to hand you a home that exceeds them.
From first conversation to final installation - you have one point of contact - me.

Whitney M. Webber Interior Design creates homes that are as considered as they are livable. Every space is shaped with all five senses in mind, balancing light, texture, materiality, and flow with the demands of daily life. The result feels quietly elevated and entirely your own.
Before Whitney designed homes, she designed policy.
Decades in the policy world taught her to think in systems — how spaces affect behavior, how material choices ripple outward, how the places we inhabit either work with how we live, or quietly work against us.
It turns out that's exactly the foundation good design requires — and exactly what Whitney M. Webber Interior Design is built on.
When she designed her own home in Bethesda — navigating the full process as both client and decision-maker, and as a working mom who needed beauty and functionality to coexist — she realized she'd been preparing for this work for years without knowing it.
Whitney brings a calm, considered approach to residential design, working with natural materials, honest craftsmanship, and a sensibility that's refined without being precious. Because that is how she wants to live. But her real priority is understanding your life — how you gather, how you parent, how you rest — and building spaces around it.
Fresh eyes. High standards. A home that works as hard as it looks good.
